These photographs were taken in order to illustrate the form and function of early to mid 1900's aeroplanes and how these designs informed the future of aircraft design post WWII showing the beauty and essence of design in this era, captured during the day in the RAF Cosford Museum from a both a close up and abstract perspective in order to portray the exquisite design using available lighting and framed appropriately to provide a compelling composition. The images are shot using a Leica M11 Monochrom camera and only manipulated during post processing to achieve bold contrast and natural lighting.
